Niinhän siinä kävi ja Miss Pohjois-Suomi Beauty kruunu saapui tänä vuonna Rovaniemelle! Itse kruunuhan on vielä matkalla, mutta tässä esimakua B-Mari shopin tuotepalkinnoista. Nämä olivat samalla myös ensimmäiset studiokuavukset Netan kanssa. Jotenkin tuntuu, että miljöökuvaus on mun vahvuus alue, mutta myös se turvalliselta tuntuva ympäristö.

Ei studiossa itsessään vikaa, mutta itsestä tuntuu luonnollisemmalta olla, kun taustalla on jotain. Kangasta vasten tunnen olevani täysin kameran armoilla, kun miljöössä voi yrittää joko erottua, tai hukuttautua taustaan.

Näihin kuviin sain tuotua myös vaihtelevuutta ilmeillä. Pieniä edistysaskelia alkaa jo näkyä.

This what happened and the crown of Miss Northern Finland Beauty arrived in Rovaniemi this year! The crown itself is still on its way, but here is a foretaste of the B-Mari shop's product awards. These were also the first studio shoot with Netta. Somehow it feels like environmental photography is my strength area, but also that safe-feeling environment.

There’s nothing wrong with the studio itself, but for me it feels more natural to be when there’s something in the background. Against the fabric, I feel that I am completely at the mercy of the camera, when in the milieu I can try to either stand out, or drown into the background.

I was also able to bring variety to these images with the facial expressions. Small strides are already beginning to show.

Mielestäni mallina toimiessa on hyvä ottaa vastaan erilaisia kuvaus mahdollisuuksia ja etenkin kokea millaista erilaisten valokuvaajien kanssa on työskennellä. Vaikka nämä ulkokuvaukset olivat samassa miljöössä, kuin viimeksi otetut, kuvaajan ollessa eri, tilanne kemiakin muuttuu. Veeran kanssa saatiin nopeasti hyvät kuvat aikaiseksi.

Näissäkin kuvauksissa hymyni oli vahvin ilmeeni, mikä ei kuitenkaan tuo ilmeikkyyden monipuolisuutta esiin, eli vielä treenataan.

I think it's good for a model to take a part as many different photo shoots as possible and especially to experience what it's like to work with a different photographer. Although these exterior photographs were in the same environment as the last ones taken, with the different photographer, the situation chemistry is also different. Good pictures were quickly obtained with Veera.

Even in these descriptions, my smile was my strongest look, which, however, does not bring out the versatility of expressiveness, so I'll keep training.

Nyt syksyllä kun olen ollut mukana järjestämässä Miss Rovaniemi 2020 finaalia, osallistuin itse myös Miss Pohjois-Suomi Beauty 2020 finaaliin. Netta on kuvannut tämän vuoden Miss Rovaniemi ehdokkaat, joten minusta tuntui luontevalta pyytää häntä ottamaan omat finalisti kuvat.

Kuvaus tilanne oli rento ja kuvaajana Netan kanssa on helppo kommunikoida. Netta myös kohteliaasti toi esille kehityskohtani mallina. Olen hymytyttö. Hymyjä minulla on antaa jokaiseen tunnetilaan, mutta vakava tai perusilme, ei juuri kameralle näyttäydy. Toki finalistin esittely kuvissa hymy on aina helpommin lähestyttävä, joten näissä kuvauksissa hymy on hyväksi. Näissä kuvauksissa pääsin kuitenkin harjoittelemaan myös vakavoitumista kameralle.

Netan kanssa on helppo keskustella ja visioida kuvausten sisällöstä, sekä aiheen vierestä. Varmasti jatketaan erilaisten kuvausten merkeissä tulevaisuudessakin.

Now, in the autumn when I have been involved in organizing the 2020 finale of the Miss Rovaniemi, I attended also myself to the Miss Northern Finland Beauty 2020 finals. Netta has photographed this year’s Miss Rovaniemi nominees, so I felt natural to ask her to take my finalist photos.

The photography situation was relaxed and as a photographer it is easy to communicate with Netta. Netta also politely pointed out my development challenge as a model. I am a smile girl. I have a different smile for every feeling, but showing serious or even a basic face to a camerais challenging. Of course, the smile pictures of presentation the finalist is always easier to approach, so in these descriptions the smile is good. However, in these shots, I also got to practice seriousness to front of the camera.

It is easy to discuss and envision the content of the photos with Netta, as well as next to the topic. We will certainly continue to take the of various photoshoots in the future.

Mitä hyötyä on, jos käyt eri kampaajilla, mutta he tuntevat toisensa koulutuksista?

Ihastuin tähän mansikkablondiin ja kun tyvikasvu alkoi olla reippaasti näkyvissä, varasin ajan Inkalle. Inka tuntee Nellin, jolle laitoin hiusmalli hakemuksen (lue lisää täältä), joten hän pystyi tarkistamaan käytetyt värit ja värjäystekniikan, jotta tyvin väri saatiin vastaamaan alkuperäistä värjäystulosta.

Upean värjäystuloksen ja hemmottelun jälkeen tälläkin kertaa Inka ikuisti työnjälkensä nopealla kuvauksella. Inkan ohjeilla on helppo onnistua ja saada upeita kuvia, jotka saa myös omaan käyttöön.

What are the benefits of, if you use a different hairdressers but they know each other?

I fell in love with this strawberry blonde and when the base growth started to show, I set appointment with Inka. Inka knows Nelli, for whom I sended the hairmodel application (read more here), so she was able to check the colors and the coloring technique to make the base color match the original coloring result.

After a great dyeing result and pampering, this time too Inka captured her work with a quick photoshoot. Inka's instructions make it easy to succeed to get great pictures that you'll get for your own use as well.

Huomasin instagramissa Inkan kautta, että Oululainen Kampaamo Syke etsii hiusmalleja Summer Collectioon. Ja koska Inkan kädenjälki vakuutti heti, luotan hänen suosittelevan vain osaavia tekijöitä ja otin Nelliin yhteyttä. Lähetin kuvat tukkani sen hetkisestä tilanteesta, joka huusi jo uutta ilmettä, ja tulin valituksi yhdeksi malleista.

Keskiviikkona ensimmäiseksi kävimme pukuvuokraamo Mallaamossa katsomassa kuvaus asut, jonka jälkeen tukkani pääsi Emman käsittelyyn. Emman penkissä oli rento ja luottavainen olo, ja höpöttelyyn löytyi laajasti aiheita. Mansikkablondeista olin tälle kesälle haaveillut, ja toiveeksi esittänyt, joten lopputuloksen näkeminen oli todella positiivinen yllättys.

Torstaina oli kuvaukset, johon saimme ihanat kampaukset ja Katariina loihti meille upeat meikit. Kuvaajana toimi Laura, jonka kuvaus visioita oli hauska toteuttaa. Hän myös opasti kuvaustilanteessa hyvin.

Kokonaisuudessaan aivan mahtava kokemus, hemmottelu hetki, josta käteen jäi itselle uuden hiusvärin lisäksi, itsevarmuutta, värin ylläpito tuotteita ja upeat kuvat. Näiden leidien hemmoteltavaksi kannattaa hakeutua.

I noticed on instagram via Inka that Hair Salon Syke in Oulu is looking for hair models for Summer Collection. And since Inka’s handprint was immediatwly convicing, I trust her to recommend only good ones and I contacted Nelli. I sent pictures of my hair from the current situation, which was shouting for a new look, and I became selected as one of the models.

At Wednesday we first went to a costume rental shop Mallaamo to choose the photoshoot outfits, after that my hair got to Emma’s treatment. It was relaxing experience to trust my hair to Emma’s hands, and there was a wide range of topics for chatter. I had dreamed of strawberry blonde hair for this summer, and expressed a wish for it, so seeing the end result was a really positive surprise.

On Thursday was photoshoot which for we got lovely hairstyles and Katariina conjured up great makeup for us. The photographer Laura’s visions was fun to implement. She also gave good guidance, for what she wanted.

All in all, an absolutely awesome experience, a pampering moment from which I was left with a new hair color, self-confidence, color maintenance products and great pictures. You should seek to be pampered by these ladies.

Meidän upeat hääpotretit kuvasi ihana Tina.

Päivän aikataulu oli suunniteltu tiukasti, mutta minut tuntien, aikataulu pettää aina. Tunnin myöhässä hiusten- ja meikinlaittoon, mikä tietenkin viivästytti koko päivää, paitsi vihkimispaikalle selvittiin hyvissäajoin. Tähän vaikutti 24 asteen pakkanen ja viima, joka hääpuvussa tuntui melko armottomalta.

Ystäväni Xenian taitavissa käsissä saatiin meikki ja hiukset kuntoon ja samalla kirittyä aikataulua puolella tunnilla. Sain myös sylitellä hänen 1kk ikäisstä poikaa, mikä tuntui ihanalta. Oma poikani on jo lähes kaksi ja vauva aika tuntuu jo kovin kaukaiselta. Ihana sulhaseni saapui morsiuskimpun ja mäkkärin noutopussin kanssa hakemaan minut. Söin ja vaihdoin hääpuvun ylle ennen huulipunaa, jonka laiton jälkeen suuntasimme valokuvattaviksi.

Tina odotteli meitä Ounasvaaralla, jossa aloitimme kuvaukset ihanissa metsä maisemissa ja vaaran huipulla. Seuraavaksi suuntasimme Salmijärven jäälle. Tinan kuvattavana on helppoa olla. Hänen innovaationsa elää tilanteen ja miljöön mukana. Hänen visioon on helppoa luottaa ja heittäytyä ehdotuksiin mukaan. Ja tähän väliin hauka fakta: Kuten sanottu, päivä oli kylmä, joten ajomatkojen ajaksi laitoimme autossa lämmitykset täysille ja minä käperryin viltteihin.

Vihkipaikalla kamera unohtui nopeasti, kun jännitys otti vallan. Pian yksi unelma täyttyy ja minusta tulee vaimo, meistä tulee aviopari. Kävelimme yhdessä vihkijän luokse Kina Grannis - Can't Help Falling In Love:n saattelemina. Meidät vihki yhteinen ystävämme. Vihkimisen aikana herkistyin välissä kyynelehtimään, enimmäkseen hymyilin ja muutama naurahduskin pääsi.

Vihkimisen jälkeen vietimme loppupäivän ja hääyön Hotelli Metsähirvaassa. Hotellin ravintola ruuan jälkeen kävimme kokeilemassa avantoa karvalakit päässä. Tästä tämä yhteisen elämän rakentaminen alkaa. Juhlitaan sitten ylihuomenna vähän isommin.

The schedule for the day was strictly planned, but as always if you know me, the the schedule always fails. I came to an hour late for hair and makeup, which of course delayed the whole day, except we were on time at the wedding venue. This was affected by the 24-degree frost and the wind, which in the wedding dress felt rather ruthless.

In the skillful hands of my friend Xenia, the makeup and hair were done and at the same time the schedule was tightened for half an hour. I also got to hold her 1 month old son in my arms, which felt wonderful. My own son is already almost two and the baby time already feels very distant. My lovely fiance arrived with a bridal bouquet and mcdonalds pick up bag to pick me up. I ate and changed over the wedding dress before the lipstick, after which we headed for photography.

Tina was waiting for us at Ounasvaara, where we started photoshooting in the wonderful forest scenery and at the top of the forested hill. Next we headed to the ice of Salmijärvi. It is easy to be photographed by Tina. Her innovations live with the situation and environment. It is easy to trust her vision and throw myself into her suggestions. And next a fun fact: As said, the day was cold, so for the duration of the drive we put the heaters to full in the car and I curled up in the blankets.

At the wedding venue, the camera was quickly forgotten as tension took over. Soon one dream comes true and I become a wife, we become a married couple. We walked together to be maried, with Kina Grannis - Can't Help Falling In Love playing in the backgrund. During the wedding, I sensitized to tears, mostly I smiled and even laughs a little.

After the wedding, we spent the rest of the day and the wedding night in Hotel Metsähirvas. After dining at the hotel restaurant we went to try out the ice swimming, furry hats on the head. This is where the construction of common life begins. The day after tomorrow will have a little bigger celebration.

Käyn kampaajalla todella harvoin, kuten lähtötilanne kuvasta huomaa. Mun suhtautuminen hiuksiin on ollut jo yläasteelta ”ne on vaan hiukset”. Tämän ja edellisen käynnin välissä oli lähes vuosi. Ja jos meidän häihin valmistautuminen ei olisi patistanut kampaajan penkkiin, en tiedä milloin olisin sinne selvinnyt.

Mulla on usein mielikuva millaiset hiukset haluan, mutta suurimmanosan ajasta ajattelen "ne on vain hiukset". Ennen ja jälkeen kuvat kuitenkin paljastaa, kuinka karun näköinen mun väriraja on ollut. Todella hämmentävää aina muutoskuvista nähdä, miten sokea on ollut itselleen, mutta parasta on ollut, etten ole antanut sen hidastaa elämää mitenkään.

Kampaamovalinta oli helppo, koska viime käyntini oli myös Voguessa. Heidän instagramista näkee upeita tukka inspiraatio kuvia, jotka vastasi omaa visiotani. Ja tietenkin kävin tutustumassa myös Inkan omaan profiiliin, ennen ajanvarausta. Mun mielestä on myös aivan mahtavaa, kun hiustenhemmottelun lisäksi saa hyvälaatuiset kuvat.

Hiusmallina olo on tietyllä tasolla helppoa, kun tietää fokuksen olevan hiuksissa. Inkalla on luotettava näkemys kuvaajana, millaisia kuvia hän luomuksestaan haluaa, joten hän pystyy myös ohjeistamaan hyvin pään asennoissa ja hiusten asettelussa. Kampaaja käynnit on mulle mieleisiä, vaikka harvoin niitä hydynnänkin. Siinä saa rentoutua, höpötellä elämän syvyyksistä ja kun poistuu olo on kuin uudesti syntynyt.

I rarely go to the hairdresser, as you can see from the picture at starting point. My attitude towards hair has been since middle school ”it’s just hair”. It was almost a year between this and the previous appointment. And if our wedding preparation hadn't chivy to the hairdresser’s bench, I don’t know when I would took time for it.

I often have an idea of what kind of hair I want, but most of the time I think “it is just hair”. Before and after pictures reveal how barren looking my color line has been. It’s really confusing to see from the change images how blind I have been to myself, but the best part has been that I haven't let it slow down my life in any way.

Choosing a hairdresser was easy because my last appointment was also at Vogue. From their instagram page I got to see stunning hair inspiration images that matched my own vision. And of course I also went to check out Inka's own profile, before making an appointment. I also think it’s absolutely awesome to get good quality pictures in addition to hair pampering.

Being a hair model is easy on a certain level when you know the focus is in your hair. Inka has a reliable view as a photographer of what kind of images she wants from her creation, so she is also able to guide well in head positions and hair layout. I like the hairdressing appointments, although I rarely use them. It allows you to relax, waffle from the depths of life and when you leave you feel like being born again.
